I'd love to have it in my yard (nice to look at in winter, and a source of native food for the birds), but I don't know how well it would do since my yard isn't a wetland (usually). Maybe some day I'll give it a try. HM...now that I think about it, it would be a good one to replace things like burning bush and Japanese barberry in my gardens...provided I kept it wet enough.Ellen Rathbonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17684750034177425795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194066715822423007.post-91308755359313772612009-11-24T22:31:50.388-05:002009-11-24T22:31:50.388-05:00Here in the northern foothills of the 'dacks, ...Here in the northern foothills of the 'dacks, winterberries are very abundant in some areas but not in others. By the way, I got a note from Steve Young of NY Natural Heritage Program telling me that most of the clubmosses have been reassigned to different genera, with only two remaining in the Lycopodium genus. Oh boy! And just wait for the new names for asters!Jacqueline Donnellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390548854179921303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194066715822423007.post-76072002008272465492009-11-20T10:09:02.996-05:002009-11-20T10:09:02.996-05:00We had a similar problem on our last camping trip:...We had a similar problem on our last camping trip:

Delaminated Soletourprohttp://www.adirondackbasecamp.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194066715822423007.post-70715209685087603632009-11-19T23:25:18.043-05:002009-11-19T23:25:18.043-05:00What a great way to end my day!
