I'm in Western NY, recently retired and trying to learn more about the natural world around me. It's always fascinated me, and now I have time to investigate it.Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17692541935507155362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194066715822423007.post-53391114090012166342010-06-10T15:13:50.250-04:002010-06-10T15:13:50.250-04:00If you bring your boat, we can go for a paddle, to...If you bring your boat, we can go for a paddle, too!Ellen Rathbonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17684750034177425795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194066715822423007.post-58766076779909340652010-06-10T15:13:11.687-04:002010-06-10T15:13:11.687-04:00Yes, I know where it is and can take you there! It has such pretty fern-like leaves, and it used to grow abundantly in the Skidmore woods, but I hardly ever find it any more. It looks very much like Aniseroot, which is also disappearing from Skidmore. Another close relative is Honewort, which has even tinier white flowers in the typical Parsley Family umbels.Jacqueline Donnellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390548854179921303noreply@blogger.com
