Earlier this week, I was in Dallas, Texas. Not for anything really nature related, though. Well, not directly nature related - it was a fundraising workshop, which we attended to learn some techniques to raise money for our environmental facility, so yes, I suppose indirectly it was nature oriented.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to do any naturey stuff. I saw some tracts of trees from the window of plane as we descended into DFW airport, and we walked by some trees and shrubs going to and from the restaurants for dinner, but that was about it.
Still, I can now say that I've been to Texas.
