New Digs

It may not be the greatest home on Earth, but for the next year it is mine. Now all I have to do is finish packing up my house and figure out how to get all my stuff to Michigan!

The best thing about this place is it is only about 10 minutes from work. AND the next best thing: there is a small library less than half a mile up the road.

  1. Hurray! I'm glad to know you have a place to call home. Knowing you, you will find all kinds of things to love about where you live. Happy exploring!

  2. I find all this very upsetting. As a relatively new resident of the Adirondacks, this has been my primary source for wildlife, flowers and other vegetation, animal tracks and the like. Your move to Michigan will leave a big gap.

  3. But, is it near good places for hikes? Seriously, from the outside it looks like a serviceable little home. Here's hoping that your days are happy there.

  4. Bill, you might want to check out the Saratoga Woods and Waters blog - Jackie does a great job and even though it's not IN the Adirondack Park, it is nearby.

Louise - yes, there are lots of good places to get out and see the natural world, including where I'll be working!
